A big engine, consistency, and full effort everyday! MB is a fun athlete to coach!

An amazing endurance athlete, Marybeth is the most consistent member of the OTG family! She has been to class over 70 times since September! You can find MB hanging tough and finishing workouts better than she starts them. Try to keep up!

Outside of her great work ethic, you’ll see a kind and humble person who loves getting better (even when she rolls her eyes at burpees!). Any time we coach MB, she welcomes feedback and is sure to improve which is the most fun type of athlete to have in class. We are excited for Marybeth to keep getting better and lifting her classmates up with her.

Q: How does it feel to be the November OTG Member of the Month?
A: I’m honored! and very excited to choose all of our workouts for November- that’s what this means right?? There will be no burpees for the rest of the month.
Q: How old are you?
A: 24
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: software engineer
Q: What was your athletic background before CrossFit?
A: Mostly running for exercise, I did a couple of half marathons in college.
Q:  How has training this way changed your life?
A: Working out in a group atmosphere has definitely taught me to push myself! Also, the diversity of movements in CrossFit has made me a more well-rounded athlete.
Q:  How long have you been CrossFitting?
A: Since June 2019
Q: What's your favorite cheat meal?
A: cheese fries!!
Q: What are your favorite movements/workouts?
A: box jump overs, rowing, running, deadlift
Q: If you could make up your own workout that fits your strengths, what would it be and what would you call it? (AMRAP? RDS for time? Movements?)
A: 5 mile run??
Q: What was one goal when you first started at OTG? Have you progressed toward that goal?
A: I would like to be able to do a pull up. I am working on it...
Q: What is the biggest accomplishment you’ve had in the gym so far?
A: I can do ONE toes to bar!!
Q: What is it that you like most about CrossFit OTG?
A: The welcoming and encouraging community!
Q: What would you say to someone who is on the fence about trying OTG?
A: Don’t be intimidated! The community at OTG is super welcoming to members of all ages and abilities.
